Pearl pendants are generally a single pearl with a gold, silver, or platinum
setting and strung on a chain. Pendants often include diamond accents.
Pearl strands are multiple pearls strung together and styles include chokers (single- and multi- strand),
princess length, matinee, and opera. Traditionally, the better pearl strands are strung on silk, but
with today's fashions you may pearl chokers woven on wire, "tin-cup" settings, and less expensive pearls
may even be strung with synthetic materials.
